Day 21 - Pizza


Mmmm...pizza, pizza! For lunch today we had some quick and easy "pizza." All three of us love pizza and we all wanted different toppings so this is perfect for us. We use whole wheat muffins as the "dough" and then we each put on whatever toppings that we wanted. (Well, everyone told me what they wanted and I put them together.) I toasted the muffins before putting anything on them so they'd be a little crispy. After I've put all the toppings on I throw them under the broiler for about and a minute and voila! Pizza!

Dawson had pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese with a little bit of Italian seasoning sprinkled on top.

Dada had pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, bacon bits, and pepperonis.

I had pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, and a tomato. (About 300 calories, would have been 250 calories but the Thomas brand muffins expired too soon so I had to buy Oroweat brand which are 50 calories more! Bummer!)

I had a salad with mine, Dave didn't want anything else and Dawson had some crackers and grapes. It was a very yummy lunch that we all enjoyed.
